Turtle games

I don\'t know if anyone plays games with their turtles but I do :) One thing I do is having a blinking contest. I just stare at one of my turtles and eventually stare back. I try to not blink before He/She does. I don\'t count it blinking one eye as it losing so it can actully go on for minutes. I h...

It would help if depressed the shift key or unlock the caps button, but to your question. If your turtles are going to mate, they will start doing dances. They will start doing wierd stuff like waving their hands in each others faces or start to wobble at each other. If you miss the mating dance, th...

I\'m not sure how long it takes but just remember to not flip the eggs over. And think about getting a bigger tank. Also, try searching for incubators so the eggs will hatch without harm.

That hole is where it releases it\'s waste and the yellow is it\'s normal waste. As for the black, I have no idea what it is. I\'ll get my friend on it. If the male is biting it, you should seprate them.

First off, seek the internet for infomation and do not turn over the eggs, they have to be right side up or they will die. Try going here: http://www.geocities.com/redslidetank/3 for infomation on feeding.

Be weary. There is a reason they don\'t sell baby turtles anymore. You can get sick if you touch them too much but this mostly applies only to kids under 10 and I think you can only get sick if you put it in your mouth or stick your hands in your mouth after you touch it. I\'m not saying get rid of ...

Turtles are reptiles that lay their eggs on land by digging into the ground to bury their eggs. They are both meat and plant eaters. I belive there are two types of turtles. Water turtles that live mostly in water like the common red eared slider. And Box turtles that live near water to drink and co...

Re: Please Read.

It looks like a normal slider and it also must be young. Try feeding it canned mealworms and some cooked chicken. young turtles prefer meat and the sort. Also get processed turtle food to hand feed it like reptosticks and Reptomin. Remember water turtles can only eat under water so put it in a tank....

Just hand feed her so she\'ll get used to you and personally I feed mine canned mealworms, Reptomin, feeder fish, chicken meat and veggies. It seems to like the reptomin best so try making it follow your hand so it can get some exercise. Baby Red Eared Sliders swim alot when they\'re young so make s...

To tell if a turtle is a boy or girl you have to look at it\'s tail. Look for the opening on the bottem of the tail. I belive if it\'s opening is right next to it\'s shell it\'s a girl. Male have it farther down the tail. I\'m not sure if my way was right. It might be the other way around :P
