Re: Cloudy water - Help!!

I use to have cloudy water in my tank. It looked disqusting! Well first of all, how often do you clean your tank? I have an underwater filter and it works awesome. It\'s thirty dollars, in case you wanted to know that. When you clean your tank you should really clean out your rocks once in a while i...

Re: My turtle won\'t eat anything

Hey, What kind of turtle pellets do you use? Red ear sliders don\'t eat unless they think it smells good. I noticed you\'ve only had him for three sumthing months. Sometimes you have to buy different types of pellets because for one thing, they should have a good variety of foods. Second, you\'re tu...

Hello, Have they been with eachother all their lives? If so I think they would actually feel lonely without eachother. I would seperate them during feeding time because you want them to have the same amount of food and not just the big one to hog it all. If it looks like the littl one is being hurt ...

Yes, if you got your turtle a while ago, your turtle may be scared or not use to the enviorment you placed them in. It might take a while for your turtle to get use to your house.

If you have pellets that you feed him then stick the pellets in a bannana, grape, or any vegetable. Your turtle will be attractive to the scent and eat it. Do that for a couple of days and then don\'t put pellets in them at all.

I thought my turtles never went out of the water either. Sometimes I sleep and wake up in the middle of the night and take a peek at them, I notice they were basking. Well the only way is to hold them at least once a week or once in two weeks. They should be able to get use to going out of their enviorment. If you do take them out all the time they will become stressful. Remember not to just leave your turtle laying around in his or her tank because they will not...

You might want to let your turtle sit in a seperate container and take your rock and your other stuff out of your regular tank. Take your tank to the bathroom and put it in the tub. If you have a showerhead use that to spray HOT water into the tank. Hot water cleans out bacteria and might help with ...
