seperate them. you\'ve gotta seperate them! and leave them apart until your baby turt is big enough to stay in with your 7-inch turtle.

yeah u\'ll have to seperate them..it is difficult for a baby RES to live with a 7-inch one..
but u didn\'t mention if anything happened to the little guy..is he hurt or something?

yes actually i found some blood on the basking platform....n the baby RES (named Angel) has a wound on her hind leg....i have seperated them and asked pet stores...they say she will be fine.....but would they ever be able to co-exist or will i have to have them separate forever?

is she ok now?
i had the same prob. except that mine were the same age but slighlty different in size..i seperated them but didn\'t have the chance later to put them back together..
anyways keep them that way now until little angel is ok then try introducing them to each other gradually not once and let it be after feeding times so the big guy would be satisfied and in good mood..
good luck and keep us posted:)

How about putting the smaller turtle in a small aquarium (or similar) and placing him near the bigger one\'s aquarium so that the bigger turtle gets used to seeing the smaller, maybe that way when you finally decide to put them together they will already be used to seeing each other.:)

hrmMmMmMm those are great ideas......maybe i will have to wait till Angel grows bigger... i have put her in a smaller tank with my other baby RES right now... she doesn\'t use her bitten limb too much, but i think she will recover...

yes, she has company, and her company keeps her \"quite\" company....look at this pic, Angel is the one with her eyes closed.

Thanks, that\'s only one of them, the other was in the water and I tried to take his picture but like I said, the camera isn\'t too good, I\'ll try to get them together when they are basking. I went to get a bubble maker and some water clarifier because the water is getting kinda murky kinda like milk, it says it is safe for fish so turtles should be ok with it.

No, its a separate item, it is for putting extra air in the tank for the fish to breath better,(I have feeder fish in there)and also bubbles make the tank look better:D

Not quite, I\'m still waiting for the teleportation device that they use in Star Trek, that would be cool, (yes I used cool), If you get too hot, just beam yourself to Hawaii for a couple of hours or days, or maybe you want to see a tropical rainforest,{zap} you\'re there in a second.

Angels the bottom one...the other one is speedy...he is super rowdy and likes to always bask on top of her...yar lol i love baby turtles aswell dixee.... i\'m mad at my big turtle (Bobby) right now fer hurting Angel

as for the camera....i would probably buy something other than cybershot...Sony\'s too over priced for mediocre quality but \"big\" name!
