Save The Turtles
There are several species of turtles that are classified as threatened or endangered today. Take sea turtles for an example. They have been roaming the Earth’s oceans since the time of the dinosaurs. There are many reasons why they are becoming endangered and extinct. Reasons such as global warming, human greed, ocean pollution and getting caught in shrimping trawls. There are many organizations that have formed in hopes to save these wonderful sea turtle creatures. They have opened up facilities to help heal these injured turtles. They nurse them up to good health and then let them free back into the wild.
When we think of threatened or endangered turtles, most people think about sea turtles. However, there are other turtle species that are classified as threatened or endangered as well. There are some organizations that are dedicated to other turtles of the world also.
