What I believe to be a eastern Snapping turtle, walked by my window and caught my eye. I watched the turtle move pretty fast toward the lake when it turned away. A few hours later I left in my car to discover the turtle was under the car. When I arrived back home the turtle made its way to a bed in a corner of my house and was starting to bury itself in the mulch. It is currently buried 90% of its body in the mulch and has not moved in several hours.
Can anyone explain what that turtle is doing?

Most turtles are nice, but they can bite and scratch... it hurt very much. be careful if you are going to try and move her.
They are very protective over their eggs. _________________ Turtles and dance rocks! |
