Hi all,
Tucker is a very messy red-eared slider. I'm getting a bit fed up with having to vacuum out so many food particles and fecies every week. I have a Rena Filstar Xp3 and while it does keep the water overall clean, it does not deal with that much debris on the bottom of the tank.
I want to feed him in a separate container. I have tried in the past but not had much success. If you feed your turtles in a separate container, what methods have you found to be successful? Any suggestions or tips? |

I guess mine isn't picky...
I have this 10 gallon rubbermaid tub, put him in with some water, when his initial anger over being moved has subsided I introduce food to him.
If its been over a day since he's eaten, he'll go for it. |
