I'll be getting a 40 gallon tank, for a 6-7 inch turtle, I don't know, I need to measure him actually.
Anyways, he'll have his turtle dock, and I wonder will he naturally just try to pull himself out? |

Heh. Silly turtles. Might as well fill it as much as you can that he won't be able to easily get out from his basking platform.
One solution, later on when you've got some time and if you got a little bit of "handyman" in you is to build/construct a basking platform that sits on TOP of the aquarium, allowing you to fill it more full. Check the aquarium pics thread for some ideas like that. I'm currently constructing something like that out of plexiglass, I'll post pics when it's done. |
