| no, you need to replcate night and day, and if the light is on 24 hrs a day than that wont reecreate natural sunlight |

| i do have a heater but in the winter it is harder for my heater to keep temps up. i have em 80-76 year yound because i have babies, id probably keep em 74-78 if they are adults. and only hibernate them if you want to breed, otherwise it is unneccessary |

| I have two male RES and they were given to me by a friend. They are about three years old now. He gave them to me in April so this is my first winter with them. They were great eaters but now they have slacked off eating. They look fine though. Right now they finished basking and are swimming around the tank. I will go and see if they want to eat something now. |
