He/she is stressed out, it will take him/her some time to get used to the new surroundings, their instinct tells them to escape, that is why they are always trying to get out of the container they are in, it will be a while before they realize that the container is their new home. _________________

| you are putting the food in the water correct, you look to have aquatic turtles so put about 4 inches in for a baby turtle, then put the food in the water, you probably knew that, i just didnt know |

How long it takes the turtle to get used to its surroundings really depends on the turtle, but if it gets hungry enough, he will eat, sooner or later. _________________

yes, i've been see some inprovement with him and less wanting to go out of the water. but he hasnt really touched his reptomins (foodsticks) i put a peace of lettus and he it seems that he enjoys that more the the reptomins some i broke in half so its easier for him to eat... so when do you think hes going to eat those sticks? _________________ Aug 29 2006
