is it short? haha I have a fluval 3 and came home yesterday and noticed that the room was kinda quiet. The pump is dead! I've had it ... maybe 6-8 months at the most! grrrrrr I just cleaned it out 2 days before and put it back in and it was fine. grrrrr would the fluval 4 be longer lasting? $$$$$$$$$$$$

good point. thank you! I was thinking that i shouldn't run out and donate my paycheck to petsmart just yet .. that i would take the filter apart and check it out. I hope that is it!!!
