[/b]Hi guys..im tyra and im new to this, i have 2 turtles..squirt and crush. iv had them since they were babys and they were brought for me as a xmas gift! i love them so much but i dnt really know alot about turtles..thats where i need your help!!

Im not sure if i have a girl and a boy but i think there trying to mate as they keep doin this shakey thing and they also sit on top of 1 another and you know what! crush is alot bigger than squirt but squirt is always comin on to crush if u get me!

males are smaller, have longer nails and tails..... females are the exact opposite

well iv just resently got them a new 1..its about 4ft by 3ft i think..it pretty bit and they have lots of room to swim around..

so you do you think they are mateing then, how will i know if she gets pregnant??

they probably are, im not sure how you tell, you might have to do some research on that..... but it sounds like they have a great home!!

yh they do have a great home, just tying to get some ocean rocks for them to sit out of the water, i have wood in there at the min but they keep knocking it over the little bugers! Laughing

LOL!! I have a log in my tank and the buggers keep moving it, so my dad just put rocks on it to keep it down.

lol..i did have a dock for them but there 2 big for it now so iv taken it out..

1 tip gravel makes the tank smelly and dirty... it just sucks!

sand is a very bad idea... i dont have anythinng at the bottom, its easier to clean

mine isnt that bad to be honest, my filter is really good as i had it all set up 4 me, and there not that messy. i like the gravel, makes it look better
