Hi there, 2 weeks ago I got this baby turtle. From the pet shop, en Tigre-Argentina, they told me that it was hibernating and is a land turtle and a veggie. Today just wake up, is "running around" and didnt eat anything: like lettuce, apple or carrot.

Hi, 2 weeks ago I got this baby turtle. From the pet shop, en Tigre-Argentina, they told me that it was hibernating and is a land turtle and a veggie. 3 days ago just wake up, is ''running around'' and didnt eat anything: like lettuce, apple, tomato, carrot or pumpkin.
I got the baby turtle in a pet shop in Tigre-Argentina, near to the border with Uruguay and to the Parana Delta.
Mi problem is that now are almost 3 days since she wake up and still nothing.
What can I try for the food? I have already use lettuce, apple, carrot or pumpkin in small pieces.
Because she was hibernating now is week and I dont what kind of food should I try.

Finally she start eating lettuce, but no tomato. Something else I can try?

ummm...... they are omnivors... once i gave mine turkey and ham because we didnt have vegetables that day.. she at that..... try caned tuna.......

she looks like a Russian turtle. They don't eat tomatoes or fruit of any kind. Lettuces (not iceburg),kale,escarole,endive,romaine,collaed greens,mustard greens,spinach and turnip greens
