my turtle i think breathes like a fog you know with that extra skin blowing into a ball underneath his mouth... i wonder if hes sick.....and i think i just found out turtles can sneeze!! with little bubbles in his nose... plz help.. i want to know if my turtle is sick..

| the throat thing is normal... sneezing could be a cold... bubbles around the nose are normal too .... its when they just BARELY have their nose above water it causes bubbles to form... i would say he is fine for now... watch for signs of illness like (excessive basking, not eating, swimming lopsided...) |

i think hes to fat....i mean i read in other forms that you can tell when skin from his legs the inside of him if it come out that hes fat? what should i do... i dont want him to die.  and for eating.. he loves it i feel bad when i dont give him more then hes suppost to eat.

| its rare that they get too fat... if he cant fint his arms legs and head into his shell then he has a problem... how much are you feeding? |

yes he can but he sleeps mostly with his head up... im only feeding him 3 pellets a day

| Wow how old is your turtle?? if its a baby like an inch or two you should be feeding twice a day... i feed mini once a day but she gets several pellets, some sticks, shirmp, krill, and a veggi. Three pellets isnt enough nutrients nor food. alittle more. |

how about those frozen veggtables at the gerocery store? not frozen of course but can i give that to him?
