| i have a problem with my baby RES. it makes sound weird noise when it open its mouth, doesnt eat for almost a week. lower its head in fatigue(sometimes), spend time on the platform. Im not sure if its lung infection, constipation, gas in the stomach or intestines, bladder stones or uric acid calculus, preventing evacuation of the anal bladder, or edema caused by kidney or heart disease. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!! |

Call the vet and make an appointment. ASAP
Then up the tank temp until your appointment. For a baby try around 88 when they are sick. _________________

Sounds like a respiratory infection due to the noises he's making. Keep him in warm water and try to instigate him to eat by putting him a separate tupperware container filled an inch or two with luke warm water with aromatic foods like chicken, tuna and meal worms.
Good luck as it can get better on it's own, or it he'll just get worse and die. He does need food to help him recover so do what you can or take him to the vet for a vitamin shot. Can cost between $50-$100. Good luck. _________________ I brake for turtles! |
