Turtles can be very aggressive when sharing a tank with other turtles... they live in solidarity in the wild, and are perffered to live by them self in captivity as well. When you buy more than one turtle you have to understand that you are more than likely going to have to sepperate them as they don't get along with each other after some time. As they begin to grow and mature they get aggressive and will start fighting for space. They will become territorial and fight the others for food and try to dominate the other turtles in the tank. Turtles will bite off limbs of turtles, or bite pieces of their shells off and can kill other turtles in the tank. The tank isnt big enough for 3 turtles right now... they recoment 10 gal per every inch of turtle... if you have three 1 inch turtles they need to be in about 30 gal of water. Make sure they have a proper environment including proper feeding, water teimp, basking areas, and amount of water... It sounds like its time to sepperate the turtles. This may get expensive.

no they will get aggressive at any point in their life... has little to do with mating age... as most turtles are already full grown LONG before they are of mating age (normally around 4 or 5 years of age) I had a 2 in turtle kill my 1in turtle in a matter of a week. You need to sepperate them asap.
