I switch my UVB tube on everyday at 8am - 8pm.
Iv just added a basking lamp, Do i put it on/off same time as the UVB or different?
Please help.

| I do my basking lamp an hour less (on half hour later, off half hour earlier). *shrugs* You are trying to give them a regular cycle... the hot sun wouldn't be up all the time outdoors. |

Thats great help thankyou, il start putting the timer on for 10am - 6pm. Cant wait to get a 82gallon tank, best save me pennys, do you have any piccys of your tank setup?

| My basking lamp stays on from 8am-10pm... that way she can bask after she eats if she wants... |
