i got a new eastern box turtle and its been 3 days since i got her. shes only eatin maybe one worm since i got her. what should i do to get her to eat and is it normal for her not to eat right now. shes probably around 7-10 yrs old, almost full grown. i have her in a big 5 by 7-8 ft. dog pen outside that ive had my other male box turtle thats probably 5-7 yrs old. but i seperated them cause he keeps trying to mate her

somtimes turtles dont eat every day. Did u try some dog food? they usauly like chunky stuffthey also like chunky cat food. and do u have a good sized water dish. but not to big or cant get out. try some fruit too.

when did you get your turtle??? When i first got mine they wouldn't eat for the first 1-2 weeks.... but they would eat at night just put a little food in there if they don't eat it by morning then scoop it out w/ a fish net.
