sometimes when my turtle is under the heat he dose not open his eyes but when hes in the sun light there completly opend and hes happy and running... and he keeps doing this dog thing where the takes hes little arms and rubbs them against his eyes? is this any sort of sign??

| Do you treat your water for chlorine? If not,this may be what is irritating their eyes.You can buy the water treatment at Petsmart. |

| Yeah you need to start using a de-chlorinator or something to balance pH levels. |

| Petsmart will sell things to balance the water PH.Look for it near the section where they sell turtle food. |
