i just bought a 45gallon blue plastic sterilite tub from walmart for my 5in red bellied cooter. i know its probably not big enough but its all i have space for in my apartment. so anyway i have heard that i need to put some kind of supports through the side so the sides dont bow out and break from the water. what should i use to make the supports? i saw someone used pvc pipe but im not sure how to put it through the sides. any help would be appreciated!

| I have a large clear sterolite container that holds about 20 gal of water. I have it half full. I did notice a little bowing out but not too much. The container u showed lookes like it's more sturdy than the one I have. I have one RES in it. The only problem I forsee is if the "lip" of the top isn't good enough to support a clip lamp. |
