| Please help me! my turtle has recently begin shedding his scutes. At first it was just one and I didnt think it was a problem but I went to feed him this morning and he had shed three more. On top of that where they were you can see what I think are his veins. They are red. I touched it when he shed the first one and it didnt seem soft. I am affraid to touch the rest of them. What is the problem and how do I fix it. |

| I dont know of any vet in my area that will see turtles and I am afraid that if there is they will charge me more than I can afford. I was hoping that I could try something at home first and then if it doesnt work than I would take him. |
