Take him to a herp vet immediately!! If he's sleeping a lot that sounds like either a respiratory infection or a skin fungus, but since he's not eating too it's probably more likely a respiratory infection. Is he wheezing, sneezing, coughing, or anything like that? Is there anything around his nose? Since he's not eating it's something serious. I remember my baby RES stopped eating once but it was only for a few days because she ate some bad vegetables and was throwing up for a day and a half. Has your turtle had more waste than usual or anything else?
I can't tell you for sure what is wrong but I do know that if they're not eating its something serious most likely and you should get him to a herp vet right away! |

| Does he swim slantedly or breathe deeply a lot (air puffs up in a pocket in their throat)? How do his eyes look? I learned recently that this sort of behavior can also be from a Vitamin A deficiency. |

Lettuce made my little girl sick so I would highly discourage that idea.
See if you can get some Vitamin A turtle eyedrops for him.
Other than that all I can suggest is going to see a herp vet |

| I'm not sure, I haven't taken mine yet though I need to sometime this week. I've heard from others its about 80 dollars a visit plus antibiotics if you need them and stuff. And the Vitamin A stuff is turtle eyedrops. You should check around pet stores like petsmart pet supermarket and the like, and if you dont find them there check online or with your local herp vet. |

Only 30? That's great! My turtle needs to see a vet and I've been worrying so much about the cost cause my family's on tight funds these days. Maybe Soup'll be okay afterall |
