| a couple of month's I got 2 new baby red eared sliders. They've been doing well. I have a basking area and an uv bulb set up. Allwas well last evening. This morning the one was floating on his back. I immediately looked and he's still alive, but weak. Could it be that he fell off the basking rock into the water and just couldn't get turned back over? He was fine last evening. What else can I do?[/b] |

I think I figured it out. Thanks for your suggestion. We do not have a vet in our area that will work on turtles. I think what may have happened is that he somehow got flipped to his back and couldn't get flipped back. Probably a little shocky. I've been working with him and he has improved quite a bit and is now pretty active. |
