I have watched mine sit there under his basking lamp for nearly 12 hours. They usually know when to jump into the water for relief. Of course watch them. i think he only moved because I made him. They do get sunburned. Odd, huh. _________________ Brandy |

| I think twelve hours might be the max time, but I'm not positive. |

| Pugsy and Mugsy and Stud have never stayed out for twelve hours at a time before. Find that four to six hours seems to be thier max times. Plus to they jump back in any time I walk up to the tank hoping for a fish or food. And every once in a while the Pitch (the cat) will smack one back in to the water. |
