I have the pic of one of my turtles in the "What kind of turtle am I?" section and I was wondering what size tank would be best? I was thinking along the lines of a 10 gallon tank since its so small. I have no clue how big it will get but according to the lady who I got it from, not very. I don't really believe that however but any recommendations from anyone here will be greatly appreciated mainly by my turtle. Laughing

The bigger the better. However if it is unaffordable, you can get a rubbermaid container until you can afford a larger tank.

You can use a smaller tank as a temporary solution to start out with. However, I would get at least a 40 gallon tank.

Welcome to the board! Smile

Thanks for the welcome.
I went ahead with a 10 gallon for now. I will get a bigger one abit later on so maybe i can fit both turtles in one. Thanks for the replies. Very Happy

Our ten gallon tank lasted a few months but Tucker grew quickly. We checked out the classified ads in the local paper and were able to score a 20 gallon for twenty bucks, so do look second-hand when your turtle starts to get bigger.

I always seem to forget about checking the classified ads. I will keep that in mind however when I do need one. Thanks for the reminder. Very Happy
