I have a problem with my RES. Every time it swims it close its eyes. Also when I feed near it, it doesnt open its eyes and find the food. I hardly see my RES open its eye. I am not sure if my RES has eye infection or low in Vitamin A. I got the RES on Feb 4th and i am afraid that it doesnt find its food and stay hungry for days or probably weeks. Please help me!!

You also just got the turtle. It takes it a few days to get comfy with the new home.

Of all the RES i had (4 or 5), only this one who is not active, doesnt eat, sleeps the most, and close its eyes when it swims

You really should make an appointment with a vet.

Vit A def period. It is not good if left untreated.

I dont know what happen but the first couple days since Sunday my baby RES cant open his eyes much. It cant open its eyes wide. Yesterday and day before yesterday, i realize that it open its eyes wide.
