Now that my male African side-neck has started mating with the female, how long will he continue to do it for. Will she rebuff him after some time (it\'s been 6 days now) and will he move on to the other female or will he consider himself part of a pair? Will I have to separate him from the one he has been mating with? Any suggestion about particular laying substrates preferred by sidenecks would be useful too, and any experience of successful incubation of this breed\'s eggs or time between mating and laying. Should I go by the same time lengths mt red eared sliders usually take?
