|

| I have two res and one is a girl and one is a boy...well I have a few questions I guess. 1. I know the female is going to end up getting bigger than the male, but I noticed the meat on her is getting big, and she is always the hungry one and the boy never really eats that much. Is she eating too much food or taking clyde's share, I can't feed them anywhere but their tank, I tried. 2. Ever since I brought them home last fall I noticed bonnie has always been mean to me, even trying to bite me through the glass; but Clyde is always friendly and only tried to bite someone once because she spooked him, he's even taken naps on my chest. Why is bonnie so mean and not warmed up to me, she follows me in the tank as I walk back and forth past it and seems to get upset when I walk away from it, she knows when its time to eat and gets excited too. |

| Females lay eggs. And yes they are more tempermental then the boys are. If your turtle has rolls of flab when you turn her on her back yes your turtle is fat. If you dontr see these rolls then your turtle is fine. Try feeding in seperate tanks every other day to every two days and see how the "diet" works. |

Well I got them last...october or november and the people at the store said they were a month or two old. But then again they try to sell me things I don't need all the time so who knows. They were about just a little bigger than a fist when I got them....not there are about the size of my hand spread out. Um I don't know how they mate exactly but I've never seen them do anything...clyde does that mating thing with his hands but she is always annoyed by him and tells him off even though he bugs her constantly.
I've tried feeding them somewhere else besides their tank, but anywhere else they are too stressed out to eat. I have only gotten her to eat once outside of her tank but I think it was because they hadn;t been fed the day before. I had to move her because she was being naugty and attacking the underwater filter's power chord...yeah that would of been bad. She doesn't do that anymore so I think she learned. |

| I also noticed that the bonnie always eats their waste before I get to clean it up, I know this because I have caught her doing it a few times. I know she doesn't do it because she is hungry. |
