they're not RES's. actually, RES got their name from the "red ears" they have and ur turtles obviously don't have that characteristic. I agree with volume_91, the reddish shell makes them look to be painted turtles Smile

Vertical yellow stripe behind the eye is one tell-tell sign of a Yellow Belly...

ha i think i know how u could say its a yellow belly but it also can be a Missouri slider i cant find any pics of it but i have a book with a pic
