I am new to keeping turtles i had had one before but my little cuz killed it she went in to my room and started to play with it and the rocks shifted and he got cought underneath the rocks and drowned. I got another one a few years later after i got a job to pay for it i got him in july and i have not name for him right now and i do not know if it is a boy or girl i have pictures. I would like a name for it. What is the best type of flooring i shoudl get i have no filter becuse i do every 3 day water changes and it keeps the water clean i have a 10gallon tank is there anything else i need i have a 150 watt heater to keep the water between 80-85 degrees it that ok he has long long nails and he is a flordia yelllow belly there are picture under the picture thing on here under jet lighting that is the temp name i came up with[/img]

Need to upgrade to a bigger tank. As far as flooring, you can essentially use nothing, copy river rocks or anyt type of rocks and place under your tank. This makes cleaning easier. If you want substrate inside your tank use larger rocks like river rocks. You can buy these at dollar stores, craft stores, Lowes or Home Depot.
