Baby Petri's new home:
Baby Petri relaxes with his lily pads:
Top view:
To quiet the filter splashing, an upside down 2-liter bottle with the bottom cut off. I used the bottom to hold up the end of the basking ramp.
New stuff:
20 gallon glass tank - onsale for $26.99 at Petsmart
Aquaclear 50 power filter - pricematched from Petsmart.com for $19.99
Marineland Visi-Therm Stealth heater 100 watt - pricematched $14.99
Lily pad with pink flowers - $4.99
Small plant - $2.99
Old stuff:
Ramp - around $15 at Petsmart
Clamp lamp - $5.87 at Walmart
Glass thermometer - $1.97 at Walmart
60 watt light bulb
The rocks and tile glued to the plants were left over from other turtle projects.
The cover on sides (to keep the cats out) are cookie cooling racks from Walmart. |
