| Hi everybody! I was just wondering what you use to clean your tank out. I want to disinfect mine, but I don't want to use anything that will harm my turtle. |

You can use bleach, it wont hurt them. what you do is use a tablespoon of bleach per one gallon of water. wipe the tank down, get any crud out, etc. then rinse the tank (wipe down thouroughly!) with clean water and a different sponge/rag etc. rinse it really well. then you can put everything back in. you can use the bleach solution on most of the turtles things, including rocks and plastic plants, but you really need to make sure that they are rinsed well. _________________ I love my turtles! |

Yea make sure the turtle is out of the tank before you do this. _________________ "Animals aren't stupid your mom is"
