| My sliders are like bad kids and won't eat their vegetables. They take romaine and spinach ocassionally, as well as chinese pea pods. But they snub zucchini, squash, carots and fruit, except banana. Any suggestions? They will eat meat anytime. |

well, why not try mixing the veggies in with the meat? i have two hatchlings that love freeze dried plankton. i just shove some pieces of romaine and carrot in there with the plankton and they eagerly eat their meal, veggies and all.

Goggles has a good suggestion there. Do that and let us know what happens. It could be that they just don't want it.

| Tell me if I'm wrong, but on this site it says not to give turtles spinach. Maybe you should check on that. |

Try some mushed up banana, very small pieces of apple too.

| I have had a very hard time giving my turtles veggies. I rarely try any more since they end up just floating around. My one turltle does on the other had just go crazy over liver. All three love fish and shrimp. |
