Bob finally ate today. I gave him some Arby's roast beef and he gobbled it right up!! I only gave him a few snibblies to get him started, but he seems to be much more alert than when we went to the vet on Weds.
He is in a dry rubbermaid tub and I will apply iodine to his belly (shell) and let that work its magic.
I will start feeding him veggies soon too. Maybe some dark green lettuce and carrots. Almost think I have rabbit!
The water heater was the key to getting him to eat. His water was too cold for too long and I am so glad I found this site!
Thanks for all the great advice!!! |

| Bob is only in the dry tub while the iodine dries, about 45 mins to 1 hour, and then he is back to the warmy cozy tank!! |
