Dekao is gazing on you. He is handsome.

The smaller is Kamekichi. His left eye is a drooping eye.

Cute turtle but you really need to get ride of the substrate you have. And add water. They need room to swim.

Kind of hard to tell, but it looks more like you have females.

I haven't examined their sex yet. They both are about one and a half years old.
But once I had taken Kamekichi to a veterinarian, the doctor said
Kamekichi might be a female because Kamekichi's belly was flat.
The doctor told me male had a curved belly(curved inside) in order to mount on female's back.

Kamekichi is very moderate tempered and not so strong powered.
Kamekichi may be a female,I think so too.

But Dekao is very powerful like a rolling thunder and super strong like a hurricane.
Dekao tears a dried fish into pieces very easily and violently with his mouth and nails.
Dekao always tries to bite me in anger when I brush his back and belly to clean him up.
Dekao has a aggressive temper.
So I believed Dekao is a male.

But to tell the truth,Dekao has a flat belly,too.
In the near future I might have to give them women's name like Dekako and Kameyo.
