I have a Flordia Yellow belly and i just added a fliter and a wooden box to the top of the tank so that he has more room to swim in. Is is a good idea to increas the swiming area. He is going up and down and he acts like he likes it but he hits his head ageast the tank wall like he whats to get out what should i do

Any Any help would be very helpful thanks

it happens.. all animals want out of the tank, unlucky for them they cant see the wall because it's transparent. only choice you really have is to either increase the tank size bigger, not taller, and still watch him hit his head or you can just laugh it off.. silly turtles
