Welcome!
Wow, you have so many turtles in your house. Your house must be quite big to have so many turtles.
You must have devoted most of your time in looking after your turtles. |

We had more here, but I lost one turtle that was too far gone when I recieved her...she was a 10 year old 3 inch res that had been treated the wrong way thanks to the owner getting the wrong info from a petstore. And the other halfs 4 kids have all been here at one point or another. And I had taken in a 12 year old girl to help her stay in this state while her mom got back on her feet after a nasty divorce. I love all animals and try to do the best I can, thank heavens for help and patience from the humans that are here! LOL We don't have a HUGE house or a ton of money but we do what we can and it all works out one way or another.
Thing with turtle's they care for themselves alot of the time, I take 10 minutes in the morning to feed greens and about 10 minutes in the afternoon to feed them pellets and greens, then twice a week all the water bowls get done, as well as fruit or veggies for everyone. Once a week I shop vac or dump the non water cages and fill them back up....takes me about 4 hours to do that and then an hour to rinse filters and scoop out leftovers from the water tanks. Not too bad. |
