| I have two RES, I never determined what the sex of the two are. But recently the larger of the two seems to be laying what I am assuming are eggs. It\'s under side of the tail looks large, maybe even swollen. It is laying black masses that are not perfectly round, there all different shapes. after a couple of days the black wears off leaving it a beigh color. they aren\'t layed in groups just one every couple of days, and they don\'t seem to pay any attention to them. should i be worried or is this normal? and if they are eggs do I have to do anything special with them? PLEASE HELP!!!! |

If they are eggs and I\'m not sure if they are, but if they are barrie them in some lose soil about 6 inches down. Try to keep them in something other than your tank. Keep the temp around 85-90F. Your best beat would to be to search this site or others for more opoins. Good luck! _________________ I now work at Petco so if you have serious question I can ask our vet every Friday.
