I have to baby RES. I am not sure how old are they, but they are very little. I can probably fit them both in one hand. They eat daily. I always feed them with different food so they don't get tired of the same food. They are healty and eat daily. My concern is that one of them likes to hide next to the filter in a very small place. I recently bought a second filter to help out with the mess and she likes to stay in between them, like standing. I have two wishper filters. Is that wierd? how can I make her stop?

My baby likes to sit on the filter or next to. I think when they get older it will stop. But then again my bigger turtles will instick the filter to move it.

i think it's still shy... my smallest baby turtle hides between my intake and output tubes... it seems to be scared stupid of me but he comes out for the food.. hopefully they'll grow out of this

maybe you can move the tubes around if it bothers u alot though

thanks!!!!!!!!!! I was all worry and today when I feed them, they both came very close to me like asking for food. I guess still shy... Smile

One of my turtles enjoys sitting by the filter too. I don't understand it myself - is it where all the cool kids are hanging out now? It's also the first thing they actually check out after I've cleaned out the tank too, I was kinda worried that they'd get stuck to it but after messing around with it's power I managed to make sure that wont actually happen.

Maybe they like the vibrations it gives off or something?

Or maybe filters are awesome convasationalists?
