My turtle's shell is about 8" long...
she seems as though she is getting fatter and fatter. How many pellets should I feed her?
Also, how many of say... cherry tomatoes, strawberries, that kind of stuff?
I often see this question asked for younger turtles, but not for bigger ones.
I know I'm only supposed to feed her like once every 2-3 days. I've also heard the 'as much as they can eat in 10 minutes' rule. However, if I did that... MY TURTLE WOULD EXPLODE! lol.
Also, can turtles eat lemon? Would the acid hurt them?

Well my two are still pretty young and still rather small and I was told to feed them 2 pellets each a day.
I don't think it's a smart move letting it eat a lemon  I don't even like eating those things on their own lol

| Yes citric acid harms turtles so no lemons,orages,etc. |
