Hi everyone, am a newbie!! Its been lovely seeing all your gorgeous pictures of your beloved pet terrapins and reading all your comments. Ive learned so much even though ive been keeping my sliders for 14 years.
I wish to change my Fluval 4 filter which is inside the tank to a bigger and probably better External filter. Can you recommend a good type but one that isnt going to break the bank but i am willing to pay as my turtle means the world to me.
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanx x.

I would go with a Fluval 305 or preferably 405 as I found them quite similar to the internal ones to work, I got really confused with the eheim |

| Hi, thanks for replying. Can i ask , are these filters still external filters that are outside places outside the tank and the water falls into the tank like a little waterfall? I was having a look at some of the photos here on this website of peoples tanks, is it one of them? And are the ones you mentioned incredibly expensive. My Fluval 4 bought a few years ago cost me £40. |
