If you can post pics that will help. I hear it takes a good year before being able to truely indentifing them.

this is my RES when i first got him/her :S in... thats about 2,5 weeks ago. btw any1 tell the gender on him...or her Embarassed

Still a little to small to say for sure. It eyes look swollen, in my opinion. Have you taken your turtle to a herp vet for a "baseline"check up? And can you try to get a different view? As it could be just the view that is making me think there maybe an issue.

I've been told that its impossible to tell the gender of baby turtles unless of course they're heat sexed! Need to wait till its older, then males have a longer tail and long claws, they may also have a slightly concave plastron Wink

that was when i first got him, ive been feeding him/her with food with vitamin A, and keeping him/her clean so now their much less swollen... almost cant c it... (read it at the care sheets, first aid) Smile

and i think the eyes of a baby RES are suppose to be like that, for a while..... isnt it?

Im not sure. Sounds like your feeding good food, Razz .If they still are not like that I wouldnt worry then.
