| hey every one i prety new to turtle owning. I currently own a Red ear Slider. he is sill just a lil baby i got him a light with 35% uva light i think and 8% uvb light or some thing like that is that good? i got a question too i feed him all these diffrent things and he won't eat it. i read the were carnivious as kids so i tyre like feeder fish. i tired the dry freeze shrimp and the lil pellets. any sugestion? P.S. this ir raph http://www.geocities.com/jon_blazin/raph.JPG its the only pic i have of him at the moment and his name is raph cause of the ninja lol |

welcome to the board what a cutie lil raph is
it's normal for new turtles not to act like they should (eat, bask,..) for the first week or two cz of the change. but don't worry, with time he'll get used to u and start begging for food everytime someone passes by him  _________________ Wed 10/27/2004 is the worst day..i lost my best friend Leo
so now i have a female RES, Green, and a cute stupid male YBS, Mint

Mine only beg when I come around, no one else, my fish beg for food only from me as well  _________________
