i know u can use them but did anyone try it personally? i'm (actually my mom is the one) concerned about if they can pop it with their claws or at least puncture it or something and cause a leak. could this happen??!

If you use a non-inflatable one with hard plastic it works Smile

Like one of those ones that is more commonly used for sandboxes... comes in turtles, hippos, etc... lol

I'm going to be posting a pic of mine as soon as I put her out in it! I didn't do it yet but I can only imagine it would work as well as rubber maid plastic since it's about the same type Smile

It just has to be one that's in new condition and not wore down so the plastic isn't thinner.

I can't speak from my own experience but I heard somewhere on this message board (I forget where exactly, sorry) that the regular kiddie pools will just get popped by their claws, especially when they're trying to find a way out!

You could try buying one like I suggested. Mine only cost $17, and it was brand new! (Actually, it wasn't even supposed to be sold yet at that store... My mom works at a department store and asked the manager if they had any and she went in the back and got us one... but sshhh, you didn't hear that from me!)

You could also pick one up at a yardsale...
