well i have an eastern box turtle and i have him in a dog pen and iv had him outside for the past few nights in the pen and its big enough i checked and i have a dog plastic water dish and its about 2 inches high and my box turtle is about fully grown but today i put him in the water bowl and he drank some of the water and thenhe was going to the bathroom but when he was in there it looked like he was craping out his guts. and then when he came out of the water it was like sticky like where a slug had been it looked like i dont know what is going on.
please please help me! |

What do you feed your box? If you have been feeding it tomatoes or watermelon maybe thats what you saw............on the other hand if it is a male box it could have been its...uhhh....."man part". Did it retract back into his body or was it ineed poop? |
