i have a light that goes on for several hours a night round 9 pm till 12pm. i have a baby red ear slider in a 10 gallong tank with lots of room to swim. it seems like he has stopped basking under the light. any ideas why he is not basking should i change the UV light timer? to maybe the morning.
other than that he is pretty heatlhy. |

I agree, 12 hours on (during daytime) and 12 hours off (during nighttime) would be the best. You could set it to come on from 9am - 9pm, and off the rest of the time. You turtle may be confused as to when it is nighttime and time to sleep, and daytime and time to bask! _________________ -= Shannon =- |
