I am new turtle owner and am getting a baby Red eared Slider. Any suggestions on what size tank i should use. I would also like to hear any other suggestion you have. What kind of filter should i get and should i use gravel or rocks for the bottom. Tanks for your help |

Here is a nice list one of our members just recently posted concerning this very thing.

Just a couple of things about it though. You can start with a smaller tank. A 30 will last you a few years and the second item is a screen cover. UVB rays don't pass through screen very well and through glass not at all, so you will want to make sure there is no cover where the UV light is. _________________
