| I have my RES's in an indoor pond and am considering artificial plants, primarily floating ones. Do they prefer lots of plants, so they can hide, or do they like open water more? |

just enough dont fill the whole tank with them..  they like to hide from wut i observe but im not as pro as other guys..

yep enough to hide in but not too much so they have space to swim
