I am redoing my tank since it is sort of bland. It has one of those self levelling docks and a rainbow cave and no substrate. I would like to have a waterfall ($20 at lps) but it needs shallower water (mines 3/4 full of 40 liter) since I am adding fish and I have a ACF. Anyways..I like having no substrate (easy to clean) but I will need some..which do you suggest for a planted tank? Also, what plants should I buy...I want some that float on top of the water (or atleast their leaves do) so it has like a natural look.

Any ideas? Anybody have pictures of their natural tanks?

Yeah I had small gravel then big gravel then big and small gravel..The only thing that ate them was my ACF...I think hes retarded. (Now I have none Very Happy

)
