why is my box turlte so mean? the only thing he does is try to bite me. when i take him out of his habitat he chases after me and trys to bite me. when i feed him he dosent even try to eat, he just trys to bite my fingers. whats wrong with this turtle? he has bright red eyes too, kinda creepy turtle. Mad

hmm i have no experience with box turtles but i don't know why they mentioned that "turtles are for watching and not touching" in the care sheets about box turtles Surprised

the red eyes are normal in that species, an eastern one right??

who said u cant touch your turtle??? and he really is super mean... like he chases after my fingers and toes when ever he sees me

might just think your fingers and toes are worms and whatever your freeding him/her might not seem as good too eat as a worm???
