I have a 6 year old male RES I'll call Romeo up for adoption in greater Los Angeles. I have had him since he was a juvenile and he is accustomed to being handled, does not bite, and will even follow you around the house! He is about 7 inches and in excellent health, and always has been.
My problem is that I recently went from two tanks to one 200-gallon pond and, when I put them together, found that he was much too aggressive with the two resident females I have. He not only harasses them, but bites them, so that means he needs to be either an only turtle or in a very large pond area.
I have enough room in the pond for another female, so am open to a trade, as well!
